Thank you for your insights. The main point is that AI will automate almost 80% of what a PM does. The remaining 20% will be subsumed by business leaders with revenue ownership. It’s not just a shallow change in title. Current orgs needs both Business Leaders and PMs. In the future, we will only have business leaders who shall do what remains of a business manager role and what remains of a PM role + some additional AI ethics responsibility. This is complete elimination of a job role from the org along with change in rubrics.
